The McKinleyville Library is located at 1606 Pickett Road in Pierson Park and maintained by the District and operated by the County. In 2010, the McKinleyville Library was expanded to include a 720 square foot conference room equipped with Wi-Fi. The conference room is available to rent by the public.

The Law Enforcement Facility is located at 1608 Pickett Road adjacent to the library in Pierson Park.  It is owned by the District and operated by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department.
