You may know Scott from his large presence online. Director Binder was elected in November 2020, is a 2021 graduate in Special District Governance from the Special District Leadership Foundation, active in the Region 1 – Association of California Water Agencies Communication Committee, a charter member of the McKinleyville CERT Team, and serves various other public service functions.  Scott also serves as the Executive Director of the McKinleyville Senior Center.  As a McKinleyville native, Scott has a long-vested interest in seeing his community grow and thrive in a fashion that is environmentally and fiscally sound.
